We're sorry, but in order to play the math facts game, you will need to upgrade your Flash Player by clicking here.
The goal is to help each student be able to answer all the basic math facts without even thinking about them. (automaticity) Special consideration has been given to intelligent adaptation to the individual student, with excellent and immediate feedback. To maximize effectiveness, the game adjusts to the student’s progress, making the questions easier when the student isn’t being successful, and getting harder when they are successful, with an emphasis on developing quick recall of the facts that aren’t quite fast enough yet, while eliminating finger counting. A new feature is videos of people telling jokes and riddles, just for fun!
The game is just the first phase of a software design which will include logins, multiple games, mnemonics, videos, and teaching tricks to help students learn the basic math facts and improve their mental math. The design has a strong research base. Pricing will be minimal, based on a large number of users, with the basics available for free. Stay tuned!
